Every cricket bat sold under the Z-BAT brand is handcrafted using carefully selected English Willow or Kashmir Willow.
Since willow is a natural material, every bat is unique. Variations in grain structure, colour, weight, texture, and appearance are natural characteristics of the wood and should not be treated as manufacturing defects.
Cricket bats are made from natural willow and require proper care.
The following are considered normal characteristics and are not manufacturing defects:
Regular knocking-in, oiling (where applicable), toe protection, and proper maintenance are recommended to maximise the life of your bat.
Damage caused due to misuse, improper knocking, excessive moisture, extreme weather conditions, incorrect usage, or lack of maintenance will not be covered under any warranty.
As willow is a natural material, damaged bats can often be repaired depending on the extent of damage.
Repair eligibility will be assessed by our technical team.
A repair option does not imply entitlement to a replacement.
Repair charges, if applicable, will be communicated before any work is undertaken.
Due to the nature of cricket equipment and product customization:
Minor cosmetic differences resulting from natural willow characteristics shall not qualify for replacement.
Orders may only be cancelled before they are processed for dispatch.
Once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
Customized products, personalized products, bat preparation services, knocking services, engraving, or other made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
